Known in real life as Oluwatosin Ajibade, Mr. Eazi’s unique sound and music has made him a major artist in West Africa’s flourishing & wavy genre, Afrobeats, carving his lane amongst the best African musicians of our time.
Born and raised in Nigeria but schooled and lived in Ghana during his senior years, created what he calls “Banku Music”, his unique chilled-out sound which is largely influenced by life in Ghana.
Identifying with these two countries, Mr Eazi is obviously The NIGERIAN BLACKSTAR sitting on the border of two distinct cultures and putting West Africa on the map.
It’ll surprise you to know Eazi is tagged as a Ghanaian by many regardless being a Nigerian. Having his annual ‘Detty Rave’ and chilling in Accra, working on major music projects with his fellow Ghanaian artists, using Ghanaian expressions and languages in his songs. Is all love in these Ghanaian streets.
